Hero ISL Match Week 2 Preview: Indian Super League 2022-23.
In Indian Super League 2022-23 FC Goa Will Take the Field for the First Time in Hero ISL When They Lock Horns With East Bengal on Wednesday at Salt Lake Stadium
One week down out of 22 in the Indian Super League season and we’ve already had some stellar action, with the league’s elite making some real statements, both good and bad. ISL week 1 Ended with 19 Goals, Tremendous.
Kerala Blasters FC rolled East Bengal FC 3-1, Bengaluru FC and Chennaiyin FC did what was expected with easy victories against NorthEast United FC and ATK Mohun Bagan, respectively.
Hyderabad FC draws 3-3 to a formidable Mumbai City FC side. Not an ideal start, but Manolo Márquez’s side will be fine.
ISL Matchweek 2 offers a solid slate of fixtures, headlined by an important second match for East Bengal FC against a difficult FC Goa squad. Hate to say make or break this early, but East Bengal FC needs a result in this one.
Let us start with Wednesday’s match at the Salt Lake Stadium.

Hero Indian Super League Match Week 2 Preview:
Photo: East Bengal FC in Action in Hero ISL 2022-23.
East Bengal FC will host FC Goa at 7:30 PM, on Wednesday, October 12th at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal.
The first Goa-Bengal Derby is here, and it should be a decent match. East Bengal FC dropped their opener at Kerala Blasters FC 3-1, while FC Goa will play their opener at Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata.
ISL Match 7: NorthEast United FC VS Hyderabad FC
NorthEast United FC will host Hyderabad FC at 7:30 PM, on Thursday, October 13th at Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium, Guwahati, Assam.
A Thursday-evening defeat at home against Hyderabad FC looks like the only scenario for the NorthEast United, though it will be able to regroup and refocus entering a Matchweek 3 contest with East Bengal FC.
ISL Match 8: Chennaiyin FC VS Bengaluru FC
Chennaiyin FC will host Bengaluru FC at 7:30 PM, on Friday, October 14th at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
In Week 1 against ATK Mohun Bagan, two players scored for Chennaiyin FC (Kwame Karikari and Rahim Ali). That balance has both served the Marina Machans well in the past and will be to their benefit this season.
38 years old Sunil Chhetri will want the lion’s share for himself before he hangs his boot from Hero Indian Super League.
Bengaluru FC’s diversity in attack will simply be too much for ATK Mohun Bagan to cope with.
ISL Match 9: Mumbai City FC VS Odisha FC
Mumbai City FC will host Odisha FC at 7:30 PM, on Saturday, October 15th at Mumbai Football Arena, in Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai.
On paper, this looks like a fairly even contest with room for surprises from both sides.
Of course, they both demonstrated in the Match week 1 that they can be one of the surprises. Both team have a good coach and a good team, and as I previously stated, anyone can beat anyone in every game in the ISL.
ISL Match 10: Kerala Blasters FC VS ATK Mohun Bagan
