The 2022-23 Indian Super League will kick off on October 7 when last season’s runners-up Kerala Blasters FC host East Bengal FC at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi.
The Hero Indian Super League will reopen its doors to fans after two seasons inside the bio-bubble due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as it returns to the home-Away format.
The fans are expected to give the games a boost as the teams prepare to compete for the championship in a slightly modified format.

ISL Match 1: Kerala Blasters FC VS East Bengal FC
Kerala Blasters will host East Bengal FC at 7:30 PM, on Friday, October 7th at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kochi, Kerala.
Kerala Blasters FC appears to be prepared for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League (ISL). With only a few days until the league begins, their fans are expecting nothing less than a championship this season. The club had previously reached the finals but lost in a tiebreaker.
Kerala Blasters Head Coach, Ivan Vukomanović, who will be at the helm for a second season running, said he was unwilling to underestimate the threat that East Bengal possessed.
Of course, they demonstrated in the Durand Cup that they can be one of the surprises. They have a good coach and a good team, and as I previously stated, anyone can beat anyone in every game in the ISL.
ISL Match 2: Bengaluru FC VS NorthEast United FC
Bengaluru FC will host NorthEast United FC at 7:30 PM, on Saturday, October 8th, at the Sri Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Grayson, who has already led Bengaluru FC to the Durand Cup, will look to start the Hero ISL on a winning note but has warned his players to remain humble after their victory in Kolkata.

ISL Match 3: Hyderabad FC VS Mumbai City FC
Hyderabad FC will host Mumbai City FC on Sunday, at 7:30 PM, on October 9th, at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune, India.
With their Spanish midfielder Borja Herrera controlling and distributing with elan, Hyderabad FC coach Manuel Marquez wants his team to look in complete control of their first game against local favorites Mumbai City FC.
ISL Match 4: ATK Mohun Bagan VS Chennaiyin FC
ATK Mohun Bagan will host Chennaiyin FC on Monday, at 7:30 PM, on October 10th, at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal.
On paper, this looks like a fairly even contest with room for surprises from both sides but ATK Mohun Bagan will be a bit more confident to get 3 Points in the first match on ISL 2022-23.
ISL Match 5: Jamshedpur FC VS Odisha FC
Jamshedpur FC will host Odisha FC on Tuesday, at 7:30 PM, on October 11th, at the JRD Tata Sports Complex in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.
Aidy Boothroyd, the new coach of Jamshedpur FC, will defend the ISL Winners’ Shield. Both their championship-winning coach, Owen Coyle, and last season’s Golden Ball winner and talented player, Greg Stewert, have left the club.
New Coach will be looking to prove why he deserves the job on the first day of the ISL season.
