After an exciting first week of ISL Matches, here is the Sportsfeed – Hero ISL Team of the Week by Ghanshyam Jha
ISL – Team Formation: 4-3-3
ISL Goalkeeper of the Week.

Kamaljit Singh – East Bengal FC
Despite a jittery start, the former Odisha FC goalkeeper gradually grew into the game and made two crucial saves to keep East Bengal in the game in the early minutes of the second half.
ISL Right Back of the Week.

Harmanjot Khabra – Kerala Blasters FC
The veteran full-back was an absolute rock at the back, displaying his no-nonsense mentality throughout. Khabra also found Adrian Luna for KBFC’s first goal of the season, a peach of a long ball from the halfway line.
ISL Centre Back of the Week.

Marko Leskovic – Kerala Blasters FC
The Croatian centre Back is crucial to KBFC’s defence, and he demonstrated why yet again. Throughout the game, Leskovic did an excellent job of controlling Cleition Silva and VP Suhair. Even when a much more physical Eliandro was introduced, the 31-year-old maintained his composure.
ISL Centre Back of the Week.

Alan Costa – Bengaluru FC
Alan Costa was the brightest and biggest of Bengaluru FC’s three centre Backs, and he did an excellent job covering the other two. He won all four of his aerial duels and scored Bengaluru’s late opener from a swivelling Roshan Singh delivery late in the second half.
ISL Left Back of the Week.

Narayan Das – Chennaiyin FC
Narayan initially started as a left-back but after the substitution of Diagne got back to a centre-back role. He held back the defence well in the second half. He was the last man standing on most occasions and did not give away many fouls.
ISL Right Midfield of the Week.

João Victor – Hyderabad FC
The skipper scored a crucial penalty goal to tie the game at halftime. The Brazilian scored Hyderabad FC’s third goal in the second half with a close-range headed goal.
ISL Left Midfield of the Week.

Adrian Luna – Kerala Blasters FC
Throughout the game, the Uruguayan magician grew by leaps and bounds. In the first half, he was well marshalled by the East Bengal defence, but he moved smartly in the next 45 minutes to pick apart the opposition defence. His finish for the first goal was flawless.
ISL Midfielder of the Week.

Romain Philippoteaux – NorthEast United FC
The Frenchman was the Highlanders’ live wire and undeniably the best player on the field. Romain Philippoteaux brought his magic tricks and kept BFC on their toes the entire time. Roman also finished five of his five dribbles.
ISL Centre Forward of the Week.

Ivan Kalyuzhnyi – Kerala Blasters FC
The Ukrainian midfielder put on one of the most theatrical performances in ISL history. Ivan scored two absolutely stunning goals in just 10 minutes to help East Bengal win the game.
While his first goal was a mazey run, Kalyuzhnyi’s second was an absolute worldie from outside the box.
ISL Centre Forward of the Week.

Diego Maurício – Odisha FC
Odisha’s hero on the night was Diego Maurício, who scored a fantastic brace. With a cushioned header to Raynier Fernandes, he set up his first goal before rushing onto the return pass and curling a shot into the bottom corner.
The forward dropped deeper in the second half, even making a key pass, before popping up in the right place in injury time to score the game-winning goal.
in ISL Match Week 2, East Bengal FC will host FC Goa on Tuesday, at 7:30 PM, on October 12th, at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, West Bengal.
