In SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 Bangladesh defeated Maldives 4-0 in their group match of SAFF Women’s Championship 2022 at Dasharath Stadium on Wednesday.
The result means Bangladesh now has one foot in the semi-final of the tournament. A victory for Bangladesh against Pakistan in their second group match on September 10 would send Bangladesh into the semis of the tournament.
The Maldives, meanwhile, is on the verge of crashing out of the tournament and would need a miracle against India to progress.
