The 9-0 victory means Defending Champion India reaches the semifinal of the SAFF Women’s Championship 2022.
Anju Tamang was the star of the show, netting four goals, as Dangmei Grace scored two. Priyanka Devi Soumya Guguloth and Kashmina added one each to make it 9-0 in India’s favor.
The Maldives defense found it hard to keep them at bay as India kept on attacking relentlessly.
India will face Bangladesh on the 13th of September at 5:15 pm to see Who tops the group as both Bangladesh & India are in Semi-Final with 6 points each.
Pakistan & Maldives both have 0 points in the Group stage, for now, Pakistan & Maldives will face off on the 13th of September at 12:45 pm, both of them looking to get at least a draw or win so they can earn at least a point or 3.
